By using our website, creating an account, and by booking any event with Mumbai Trekizens ("we", "us", "our"), you ("participant", "customer", "user") agree to the following terms.

1. Acceptance of Risk

Adventure activities including but not limited to trekking, camping, river rafting, rappelling, climbing, and wildlife safaris are inherently risky. Participants acknowledge and accept these risks when booking any event with us.

2. Fitness & Health Declaration

Participants confirm that they are medically fit for the chosen activity. Participants with pre-existing conditions (asthma, heart conditions, high BP, epilepsy, pregnancy) must disclose these at the time of booking and consult a doctor before participation. Mumbai Trekizens reserves the right to deny participation if a participant is deemed unfit at the pick-up point.

3. Indemnity

All participants sign an indemnity form at the time of the event stating that they participate at their own risk. Mumbai Trekizens, its employees, contractors and partners are not liable for any loss, injury, illness, or death arising out of the activity, except in cases of gross negligence proven in a court of law.

4. Participant Conduct

  • Follow all instructions of the trek leader at all times.
  • Do not consume alcohol or drugs before or during the activity.
  • Respect fellow participants, staff, and local communities.
  • Adhere to leave-no-trace and zero-single-use-plastic principles.
  • Do not stray from the designated route or campsite.

Non-compliance may result in immediate ejection from the event without refund.

5. Media Rights

By participating in a Mumbai Trekizens event, you grant us the right to use event photographs and videos (in which you may appear) for marketing purposes, including social media and website content. If you do not wish to appear in our marketing material, please email [email protected] before the event.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — text, images, logos, itineraries — is the property of Mumbai Trekizens and protected by copyright. No content may be reproduced without written permission.

7. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites (payment gateways, social media). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those websites.

8. Pricing

All prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of the services listed under "Inclusions" on the respective event page. There are no hidden fees or additional taxes. Prices are subject to change without notice, though confirmed bookings will honour the price paid.

9. Force Majeure

Mumbai Trekizens shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to events beyond our reasonable control including natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, war, terrorism, riots, or infrastructure failures.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.

11. Amendments

Mumbai Trekizens reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. The updated terms will be posted on this page and will apply to all bookings made after the update date.

12. User Accounts

Creating an account is optional — you can always book as a guest. If you create one, you agree to provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and be responsible for activity under your account. You must be 18 or older to hold an account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that are misused, contain false information, or breach these terms. You can delete your account at any time; see our Privacy Policy and User Account Policy.

13. Rewards, Trek Coins & Referrals

Trek Coins, badges, referral rewards and any member benefits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and are goodwill rewards only. We may change, expire or withdraw them, and we may reverse coins or rewards earned through fraud, abuse, cancelled bookings, or error. Referral rewards are credited only after the referred booking meets the stated eligibility conditions.

14. Certificates, Reviews & User Content

Digital trek certificates and completion badges are issued only for treks verified as completed by us, and may be revoked if issued in error or obtained by misrepresentation. Reviews may be submitted only for treks you have actually completed, and a "Verified Trekker" tag is based on a verified booking. You are responsible for content you post (reviews, bio, portfolio). Do not post unlawful, offensive, misleading or infringing content — we may remove such content and the related account.

15. Travel Portfolio & Public Content

Your profile and portfolio are private by default. If you make your portfolio public, you consent to displaying the non-sensitive information described in our Privacy Policy (name, photo, bio, completed treks, badges, certificates, statistics). We never publish your contact, health, payment or booking-amount details. You may switch your portfolio back to private at any time.

16. Consumer Grievance Redressal (Consumer Protection Rules 2020)

In accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, Mumbai Trekizens has established a structured customer grievance redressal mechanism:
